This stylish and extremely comfortable 2-seat Ry-wing lounge sofa was designed by Elsa and Nordahl Solheim, produced by Rybo Rykken c1960.
Classic in Scandinavian design, the frame is crafted from bentwood and finished with a warm teak veneer that has been shaped organically in true Scandinavian style. The hammock style back and base create a sturdy fabric shell, the seat cushions are made up from a high quality tan leather and are stitched and shaped together perfectly.
The leather is in good vintage condition with some wear consistent with its age and use. There is some discolouration and creasing in parts and some small scratches to parts of the sofa, these can be seen up close but do not affect the overall comfort and look of this piece but of course have been reflected in the price.
