A naively made stool, the kind of stool you would expect someone’s grandad to have knocked up in his shed, except - that is exactly where it’s from, I purchased it from a local man who approached me about anything I might want to buy from his parents garage.
This one is a gem, a circular seat propped up on two diagonal planks for legs with a horizontal stretcher supporting and joining the two together, and then painted in an unusual way, half black half amber with charming wear and patina throughout.
